When going for a ride, it's important to turn the bike and Ranger on in the correct order. If you don't do this, you'll notice your bike will not throttle.
In this case, the screen on the bike may turn on, but the throttle will not work. No worries, your bike and battery are not damaged! This is a safety procedure built into the BMS of the stock battery. To remedy this situation, we found the best solution is to:
- Turn off the Ranger
- Turn off the stock battery
- Wait 5 minutes
- Follow the correct steps to turn your bike on again
This will allow the BMS to self-correct, and you'll be able to ride again. No harm done, except for the 5 minutes lost!
